Navico speed log

Have a Navico speed log on my Westerly but does not read speed ,impeller turns freely , Does anyone know if the transducer can be replaced with a Nasa one , diameter seem about the same . Navico one is not available and the boat is in the water and not coming out till end of season so do not want to change the through hull fitting .

Worth looking at the impellor ... usual is that the small rare-earth magnet gets lost in one of the vanes. Or its lost its magnetism. Easy to replace ......

Also .... Navico (as part of Brunswick Corp) took over B&G ... so your log may be one of the B&G relabelled.
